Job description:

The ID/Sr. ID serves as the instructional anchor for the project team, overseeing the quality and consistency of all instructional artifacts across multiple CTE clusters.

 KEY EXPECTATIONS:

  • Instructional Leadership: Lead high-level design decisions and maintain quality standards for both onshore and offshore ID teams.
  • Team Guidance: Mentor IDs to ensure they are correctly applying pedagogical best practices and the established SME-led development model.
  • Review & Approval: Review and approve all critical instructional artifacts, including blueprints and storyboards, to ensure consistency across modules.
  • Guideline Governance: Own and update the “live” guideline documents as requirements are refined throughout the development process.
  • Strategy Liaison: Collaborate with Project Managers and stakeholders to handle design-level updates and potential rescoping needs.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Any Bachelor’s degree and above Preferred areas Instructional Design, Curriculum and Instruction, or Education Technology /Leadership

  Experience Level:

  • Years of Experience: 6–10+ years in instructional design, with at least 2 years in a senior ID role.
  • Sector Experience: Extensive experience in Career and Technical Education (CTE) or vocational training content. K-12 education US Education System

Following will be preferred:

  • CTE Expertise: Experience in middle and high school CTE pedagogy and career exploration.
  • Pedagogical Fluency: Proficiency in the 5E Instructional Model and the Gradual Release of Responsibility.
  • Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-recognized certifications and state-specific CTE frameworks (e.g., TEKS).
  • Modular Design: Ability to design self-contained, objective-driven modules that can be unbundled or stacked for different instructional needs.
